Pure Japanese Mint Essential Oil

Japanese Mint is also known as "Cornmint" and "Field Mint".  This oil is used in the cosmetics industry to make toothpaste, detergent, soap and perfume.

Peppermint is generally preferred over Japanese mint in aromatherapy applications.  

On the advice of Tisserand and Young [Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young, Essential Oil Safety (Second Edition], Japanese mint is an essential oil that should be avoided in instances of cardiac fibrillation and G6PD deficiency, and this oil should not be applied to or near the face of infants or children.  

Blends well with basil, black pepper, cypress, eucalyptus, geranium, grapefruit, juniper, lavender, lemon, marjoram, pine, ravensara, rosemary and tea tree.

Latin Name: Mentha arvensis

Scent: Strong, bitter-sweet minty aroma

Essential oil is packaged in an amber glass bottle with dropper cap (orifice reducer cap) for easy application.  Essential oils will be packaged in a box with crinkled kraft paper for safe transportation during shipping.  Please see photo #5 for an example of packaging.
