Pure Amyris Essential Oil

Amyris essential oil is also known as West Indian Sandalwood but it does not have the same aroma as true sandalwood.  Amyris has a sweet woody aroma.  Traditionally local traders and fishermen called it "candlewood" because it would also be used as a torch.

Amyris has been used in aromatherapy for its antiseptic and sedative properties.  Blends well with cedar wood, citronella, ginger, lavender, and ylang ylang.

Origin: Haiti

Latin Name: Amyris balsamifera

Scent: Sweet woody aroma

Note: Base

Method: Steam distillation

Essential oil is packaged in an amber glass bottle with dropper cap (orifice reducer cap) for easy application.  Essential oils will be packaged in a box with crinkled kraft paper for safe transportation during shipping.  Please see photo #5 for an example of packaging.
